Home grown leafy greens are a little more work. Most of them are covered in dirt and may have little creatures living in them so they need a very good thorough washing and then drying. All worth the extra effort.Yummmmmy radishes!
Salad preparations really brings me my days with my late father. We usually made Caesar Salad which is also our favorite. Your salad looks delicious. I'll try this one with kids. Thanks
ReplyDeleteWe also had a large garden when I was young, and I remember that the first things to come out of it in the spring were the young tender lettuces. I don't have much of a garden myself, but I get fresh veggies from my brother. His greens are beautiful right now, and I'm going to try your salad dressing recipe with them. Thank you for sharing!

ReplyDeleteabsolutely amazing. i used the exact recipe - 1/2 cup of sugar - for a total of 1 cup instead based off of the other reviews. made this for my family, who are the biggest food critics, and everyone loved it. this will be a household staple.
